My team in The Sandlot world finishes with 99 wins, is the #3 seed in the playoffs and then is beat in their first playoff series. WIS rewards me with $4 credit.

My team in Bo Jackson world finishes with 70 wins, is 4th in their division and has the #6 pick in next season's draft. WIS rewards me with $4 credit.

Those 2 accomplishments should not be rewarded the same. I'm guessing they give the $4 reward for last place as an incentive for owners with bad teams to come back for another season. However, it also could be viewed as encouraging tanking. Thoughts?

I agree that there should be more incentive to make the playoffs than there is to be the last place team in the division. However, I would hope that nobody is tanking to get $4. Maybe give the playoff teams all $5 instead of $4 or maybe give the last place team in the division only $3.

I'm more concerned that 2nd gets $0, 3rd gets $1, while 4th gets $4.
