Looking at a pg whose durability is a red 9..is this something I should be concerned about?

No. I don't even look at durability.

Durability only comes into play on injuries, how often they get injured and how fast they recover from injury. However, no one ever looks at this stat because injuries in HD, for better or worse m, almost never happen. So don’t let that hold you back. It will suck if he does get injured but almost everyone would take that risk 100% of the time

I love me some low durability. It's basically a throw-away rating, and when its really low, it lowers the recruit's overall rating. Sometimes it can cause the recruit to be overlooked, even though they're strong in all of their core ratings.

That’s what I thought but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that low with no chance of going up..

I don't even consider durability in recruiting since injuries are still pretty rare. I wouldn't have a problem signing a guy with 9 durability. However, I once had a guy with a 6 durability who got injured and it took him FOREVER to get back to 100 percent.

IFFF he gets hurt, it will take a long time for him to come back. But injuries are rare. Maybe thats a negative tiebreaker, but I would not give up much in the way of core skillz for better DUR

I was under the impression that durability has nothing to do with how often players get injured. It's only the recovery time.

I don't really know if it impacts chance to get injured or not .. injuries are rare enough that I don't us DUR for anything either way.

This is my understanding. Anyone can get hurt, and it’s totally random. Durability affects recovery time. Injuries are so rare, it doesn’t make much sense to look at it.
