I always thought he would become Baseball Commissioner or a US Senator from Georgia or Wisconsin.

A great man and a great player. I read his autobiography last year and found it very moving.

Why isn't Aaron's home run to win the 1957 pennant more remembered? I only learned about it now watching the video above. We all know Bobby Thomson's, and Chris Chambliss', and Bill Mazeroski's and Kirk Gibson's, and even Bucky Dent's.

How has one by the someone who became the all-time home run champ fallen through the cracks? Maybe because the team left Milwaukee? And weren't in NY as Thomson's Giants?

Class Acr too.

Even though the whole world knew when Bonds passed him it was tainted, Aaron recorded a video message congratulating him to be played in the stadium.
