I've been playing since nearly the beginning of time in Naismith and am considering adding a new team in another world to try some stuff out... but it's been so long since I've been anywhere but grinding away at OHIO that I have some really terrible newbie questions. Apologies and thanks.
Why are Wooden and Knight not accepting new coaches? Is this just based on where they are in the schedule or are these exclusive worlds?
If I reserve a team far enough out can I participate in the first (in-season) recruiting period to help solidify my roster for the next season when I'll start?
If I join a 2x per day world are the recruiting cycles shorter too (3 hours per cycle like in the old days)?

Hi dw, would love to have you in Knight. Right now they are not accepting new coaches because it's the Jobs period so you can only apply if you're a current or former coach in the world. New coach signups start on 2/16 in Knight!
I believe if you reserve a new team in advance you not only DON'T get to participate in R1 you also don't get to participate in R2. You wouldn't actually join the world until the next season starts so you'd miss the full recruiting cycle (hence why I'd advise joining fresh during new coach signups). The only way to participate in recruiting is to actually apply for a job - which you can only do if you already had a job in that world at some point.
Finally, in the 2x per day world it's the same 6 hour cycles in recruiting (11am, 5pm, 11pm, 5am, etc.). Recruiting (session 1) just starts earlier in the season.
