So, I've been lowering/zeroing my Advanced Scouting budgets to use the money elsewhere (really it's because that's what the vets do). So player projections are inaccurate. I can extrapolate from current ratings based on age, years pro, makeup, and which categories players typically improve in...

But DAMN it's an uncomfortable feeling!!!!

The more experience you get under your belt, the more comfortable you will be about it. It's the only way to go IMO.

Seriously, the money is simply better used elsewhere. As was once explained, Advanced Scouting is really only useful if you trade often for other team's young prospects. If you never look at another team's players, there's no need for it at all.

I look at it like this.... 15 mill in IFA and College/HS goes a lot further accuracy wise... so when they come in and the projections look way off because advanced scouting I don’t pay it any attention because the scouting budget that has 15 million will be pretty dang close to accurate... I tend to jot down certain things also as far as what the projections on those players are before they sign
