Meghan Markle or the French teacher who was beheaded after one of his 13 year old students lied about him saying something about Islam (student just recently admitted this)?

If you listen to the media, a member of the royal family with unlimited funds and connections is the bigger victim. What a stupid world!

You concern yourself with odd trivialities. Mayhaps you turn the news off for a week or two.

Beheading = triviality? Huge uptick in religious violence in France = triviality?

umm... what? Who cares?

Reminder that France has over 3 million muslims.

Except no. Markle is victim #1 right now on Twitter, social media, major media etc. Nobody cares that (as has just been released) a student lied about a teacher, a lie that triggered religious extremists to behead a completely innocent man.

Imagine something similar happening where a white student made something up that caused the death of a teacher who was a person of color...it would be headline news everywhere.

Yeah, one story is getting more coverage than the other. No one is saying that Markle is more of a victim.

One story happened to someone in the British nobility, the other to a random person. Of course the former is more of a story than the latter.

It's the royal freakin' family. I have no idea why, but all of the UK and much of the free world still has a bizarre fascination with the British Monarchy. The fact that you're comparing an entire modern history long worldwide phenomenon to a recent isolated incident in France is typical for you and could be described, at best, as STRAWMAN CITY.

who cares what twitter and social media say? Anyone with half a brain would say that the poor teacher who was beheaded is more of a victim than Markle.
Personally I have not read one word about Markle or her story. I did read a story about the french teacher.
