Been ages since I did this - am I right that the best play is take him off the depth chart, set him at mopup. But, dont apply the redshirt during the season. Some right he gets in a game despite those precautions, but that lets him improve.

When is the last time to redshirt him? during the post season tunaments?

I always redshirt him the day of the CT final. That's when growth ends. I'm not sure the actual last day that you can. But that's an easy date to remember regularly. And I'm willing to bet I have more experience with Sr redshirts than anyone. I'm getting to the point where I do it, more often than I don't do it.

I have a few possible EE's - so, with the 5 seniors I can lose only one EE (the 6 player limit)

does putting a redshirt on one of the seniors expose another player to EE - because there are then at the time of EE determinations only four graduaing seniors????
