Other than forums for each world and the general HD chat is the discussion divided in some other way by topic? I cant figure it out

The activity level in Discord is excellent, but it feels to me like one big wandering conversation - which may be interesting at times and may be very un interesting. Am I missing some way to better use discord?

That's pretty much it, although I do enjoy the direct message feature. Similar concept to sitemail but it feels more like texting vs email. There is a separate game planning chat but nobody has used that yet. You can search the conversations for keywords if you're looking for something specific, but it's not really a replacement for the forums in that way. As you said, it's much more of a general discussion. That and it's a good place for new players to ask questions and get a real time response.
