Wild Names of Baseball all on One Team Topic

As most of us know there have been some wild names throughout the years in the MLB. I knew a lot of them, but recently when I started playing SimLeague Baseball I ran into some names that I had never heard before. As I continued to make different teams I continued to come across names that cracked me up, or some that even made me cringe. After a while I started to wonder if I could make a team of these players that would be at least competitive in the standard league, so I decided to give it a shot. I will say it was far harder then I thought it would be and easily took me 4X as long to put together then the teams I recently put together. Below is what I finally ended up with. I know that there are many other names out there such as Razor Shines, Wonderful Monds, Milton Bradley or Pete LaCock, but I still wanted to make this team competitive and they didn't fit into what I was building. Knowing this team just doesn't quite rate compared to most open league teams, I'm still hoping this team can win at least 65 games, but we will have to see. Let me know what you think.

That's a pretty good collection of strange names. I wonder how many of them got picked on as kids because of their names?

Most. Could you imagine having a name of Baby Doll, Dickshot or Pickles? Poor guys.

Pretty cool idea. Looks like 65 wins is a modest and achievable goal. I’d bet the over.

According to Wikipedia, Johnny Dickshot's original family names was Dicksus.

No word on whether he had a brother with a speech impediment named Biggus.

I am a huge Granny Hammer fan, even if his name isn’t Granny Hammer, he had a hammer at the dish when I used him in my Phillies only team
