First season in D1.

Chose a sentimental school (my wife's alma mater - she hooped at Furman U. in SC) rather than looking for the "best" D- school I qualified for. Gutted the team in my first RS2. Prioritized starts & minutes for young guys over trying to win since I knew this would be a bad season.

All that added up to 0-26 in the regular season.

Reconfigured the depth chart & game plan to actually try to win our first conf. tourney game...

and won 68-57. Conf. tourney 3-seed Chattanooga is going home, and 6-seed Furman lives to fight another day.

Somehow this win after starting 0-26 just feels better than I expected!

Tougher task ahead with Western Carolina but they’re far from unbeatable and coached by a SIM. I’m rooting for you!

2-26 feels much better than 0-26, lol.

W. Carolina beat the only other human in the conference, so just me and sims left in the conf. tourney final four.

WC is really strong on O, but really weak on D.

Hopefully I can pick on the SG (37 def), SF (36 def), and PF (43 athl & 53 def) enough to keep up with their offense.
