Def Rep working right? Topic

Before I send in a ticket I wanted to check the forums to see if anyone else is experiencing anything similar or has any ideas how to fix this.

For my defensive replacements, I bring in a utility guy at 3B which is supposed to set off a chain reaction of player shifts going from 3B -> 2B, 2B -> RF, and RF -> 1B. However, 3B -> 2B is the only one that happens and my 2B comes out instead of going to RF and keeping the chain going.

I've made sure my player settings allow everyone to be a def rep. I've also made sure to check the proper position boxes in the player position assignment pages. Not sure what else I'm doing missing here.

I can't point to specific examples any more, but I used to try to use a similar defensive replacement strat, but once i realized it would only work on an inconsistent basis, I abandoned it.

You have to make sure the replacements will be available. Go through your Def Rep depth charts. If any of your replacements has already entered or left the game, the entire chain will be interrupted and none of the following events take place.

Hmm, I only have one guy that already leaves the game during player rest scenarios but he's in a separate replacement chain, CF -> LF, and shouldn't affect the chain I mentioned above. I'll take him out and see if that does anything though. Thanks for the tip

Also, to be specific, none of the replacement players can be starting anywhere at another position. So if you have platoons, pinch hitters, in-game injuries, all of those could throw your def reps off.
