Two guys - same IQ - who is the better defender playing man (this is close as I see it)

A. ATH 92, SPD 75, DEF 95

B. ATH 75, SPD 87, DEF 84

I tend to think that speed is almost always key for guards, but do the superior ATH and DEF for A compensate for the less than I wish speed?

B is good but A is better.. Their AT + SP comparison are roughly equal. A has the superior DE rating. DE is the most important rating factored into defense.

Against man, I would respect A more. In my FB/P sets and HCP/zone sets it’s pretty much a tossup. Still A, but a bit closer, especially in straight press.

If he doesn't like it, tell him he can transfer to one of my teams. Guaranteed starter/as many minutes as he wants/50% distro/ and after-game orange slices and snacks.
