Assuming you believe in the need to do end-of-season promotions to lock in development points, people say to do it during the World Series, allowing as much time as possible for development to occur. Does it matter when you do it as long as your minor league seasons/playoffs have finished? If the guy at AA has finished the playoffs, is he doing anything over those next 20 or so days while the ML playoffs are happening? It seems it would be fine to do minor league promotions at any time once those minor league seasons are over, right? I know it's trivial, but every dev point matters. I'd rather just do it at a convenient time instead of waiting til the WS is almost over...but don't want to miss any possible dev points. Thoughts?
