Could someone explain what this is and how it works.

its a cap on the total salary of the players you send down to AAA

i guess the theory behind it is to keep people from tanking by putting their best players in AAA, but it's pretty annoying in general, I always turn this off when creating leagues

So if your team salary is up against the cap and AAA is way above average players you won’t be able to send down a minimum priced player and bring up a AAA player because you would go over the cap?

no thats not how it works. the AAA players don't count against the league-wide cap, that's only for your 25 man roster.

Thank you for your help I really do appreciate it.
I still don’t really understand it but once the league starts I guess I will learn. It is a 255 theme league.

At 255 the ML CAP is horrible. I really don't thinkanybody likes it. At least I've never heard an argument for it.
