Philosophy of Commish Correlate to World Topic

I have found that many worlds inevitably evolve into a place where a commissioner can have rules that best suit his style of playing (I.e. if a commissioner is a big IFA guy, the World usually allows cash trades; if the commissioner keeps himself relevant or makes himself relevant via fleecing other owners via trade, the Commissioner usually has no problems with lopsided trades; if the commissioner is a "lose 90+ games for several consecutive seasons to build a young core", the World will likely have no MWR or a low floor mwr). These observations are not true in every World, but they are certainly true in the majority of the World's in which I participate.

Anyone else notice this?

Quite simple. Join a world where the commish hasn't won the WS in a while or repeatedly. Thats your first sign right there. In Riley our Comish Shucky has won the WS twice in 58 seasons. In Gibson KSbeachbums has won the WS once in 59. I'm not concerned.

I've won once in 41 seasons in ULB. We have a MWR and a Prospect Cap, never had a problem with crappy trades as any questionable ones will get discussed and sorted out.

I used a bit of hyperbole above. It isn't the majority of the Worlds I'm in, but it is certainly prevalent in some of them. I guess what stinks is that it usually takes a few seasons to understand/comprehend the culture of a World. However, after a few seasons, I usually have a few nice prospects to where I feel committed and don't want to leave despite not being a fan of the World culture.

It was less of a compliant and more of an observation of some of the behavior I see in some of the Worlds. I guess the lesson is that I need to vet a World before joining. Each world has its own culture and I may not not enjoy it as much as I enjoy some of my other Worlds.
