Hello all. We need 1 owner for our very new Ted Lasso League for the 2016 season and beyond...a progressive based loosely on English Soccer. Basically...we have a 12 team Premier League (the NL) and a 12 team Championship League (the AL)...the top 2 AL teams move up and the bottom 2 NL teams get relegated.

This is a REGRESSIVE league that started with 2019 and we are now just past the ASB in 2017. Other than relegation--the rules are pretty standard--except that there is a weighted lottery for the top 4 draft picks for all non-playoff teams (which will be 20 of the 24). This and the threat of relegation should help prevent tanking. 28 man rosters (no sim-generated AAA)...there is trading, but not between PL and CL teams.

Happy to answer any and all questions...should be a great league with some super standup owners.

Does the draft mix the AL and NL or do all the AL teams pick before the NL?

We consider the NL winner to be the true league champion.

There is one draft including both NL and AL teams in reverse order of finish at game 162 BUT with a 4 team weighted lottery that includes all non-playoff teams.
