One more calculation shows that you get only 1.09 extra plays per game by paying $8.56 M for ‘27 instead of $5.12 M for ‘29.

27 Frisch should give you around 25 "+" plays vs about 10 "-" plays for 29 Frisch. 27 Frisch also has a better fielding percentage and should give you more double plays.

1927 Frisch also has 100 more plate appearances which makes a big difference in the price. If you're going to bat them at the bottom of the order 1929 is a better deal since you're wasting a lot of money on PAs you won't use.
