You’re killing one of my favorite subs. In 1965 he had a grade for every position except 3B. I love him on my bench. One season he became my regular C , because the guy I drafted wasn’t hitting and Cookie hit over .300. I understand why, but in some leagues I’ll now have to draft a real back up catcher.

I’m not aware of other catcher anomalies, but I’ve seen several secondary fielding ratings that don’t jibe with the RL fielding percentage a guy had in his cameo position. I’ve never understood why.
