This guy actually lost a few ratings on some of his pitches. He won't make it to the bigs regardless but I can't recall seeing this before.

Yeah haven't seen them lose 7, but I have seen guys lose ratings on pitches 3-5 before. Good thing is they'll gain them back, not sure why they decrease at first. I've also seen the draft projection on Stamina drop after a prospect getting DITR (was 100 pre DITR, dropped to 93ish post).

We treat our prospects well in Madison. Training budgets include a line item for clubhouse kegerators. May have to rethink that perk if their ratings keep slipping.

Very interesting. I have heard stories of pitchers improving by dropping or minimizing their lowest-rated pitches. Maybe this player is doing that? Generally you want a solid out pitch more than you care about multiple garbage pitches in the 30's and 40's anyway. This guy already isn't good so one of the most effective ways to improve him might be to drop his worst pitches, addition by subtraction.
