One of the toughest conferences in HD has two available openings - Coppin State College and Howard University - and we're looking for two coaches willing to fill the roles of HC. The conference has some of the best coaches in HD including chapelhillne, gillespie, utthead, and garmansouth (and formerly the home of coaches like jimmychino, Benis, and cubcub).

Coppin State has experienced some recent successes but may be undergoing a bit of a change with 6 seniors leaving (3 players signed). However, they do have a B- prestige to begin recruiting at a higher level early on and an established roster in place. Howard just brought themselves up to a C+ with only having 3 seniors leaving (2 walkons and 2 signed players) so they won't be too far behind in recruiting with some talent on the team.

The coaches corner is the most active and enjoyable I have ever been a part of (with several top tier coaches providing insight and positive comments) and remains the largest reason for me staying as long as I have been. The conference has reached #1 in RPI multiple times and are hoping to continue successes despite the influx of coaches into D1. We are #6 in conference prestige at a B- with our highest being #4 at a B.

This has been my favorite conference in over 500 seasons of HD. There is a great collection of coaches. The conference board is active and positive and helpful. It is extremely competitive, with most conference championships going down to the wire among several teams. And I really enjoy the collective challenge we are all engaged in of trying to keep a lowly conference, from a baseline prestige standpoint, as one of the top conferences in the world. It has been many, many seasons since the conference was not ranked ahead of one of the Big 6 conferences in conference RPI at the end off the year. The two teams that are available are solid - not rebuilds.

Coppin State was picked up quickly but now North Carolina A&T has opened up. A true rebuild in which you can make your own project with elite tier coaches to help as your progress. Don’t miss out!

My ultimate dream in HD is to be a part of a non traditional power conference. I've been in the CAA in Knight for 9 seasons and the highest conf RPI we've ever had is 9 (10th twice). How long did it take you all to routinely finish inside the top 6?
