I've got a pitcher I want to wrap up LT now that I've arb'd up to this point. He's looking for 8.0M for three years. I'd like him keep him for the max 5 years instead. I don't want to blow the offer, so what happens if I offer another 8.0 for 2 additional seasons? Good, or would I need to up those last 2 years I want to add, and if so, any idea by how much? Thank you.
