If I send a player down before season’s end, will he have a minor ($55K+) or major ($327K+) league salary to start that new season? I believe a minor league salary but I wanted to confirm. Thank you.

you mean the following season? If so, yes, if you send him down now, he should have a minor league salary next season unless he has enough service to hit arb1.

Also, if you signed a free agent to a one year deal and he has less than three years service time, he will cost $500k the following season if he remains on the mlb team.
