Have they made *major* revisions to GD and HBD? I gave GD another try last year, and it’s still a terrible game. Formulaic, unrealistic, gameable and therefore utterly dominated by people who have been there the longest and know the secret codes (one guy had something like a 350 game winning streak in the world I was in with no end in sight). Likewise, HBD, is designed to basically devolve into winners ball, with the coach getting to the top getting increased advantages and staying there ad infinitum, unless they **** up or something. The development of the prospects are too predictable, the budgets are formulaic and static, no one in their right mind trades anything of value because there is no such thing as a win/win trade, good free agents only become available when someone ****s up or ghosts, and the only reasonable path to winning is to tank for 6+ years, stock up on draft picks and max on internationals, and bring everyone up at once (and don’t forget to manipulate service time, very important). No thanks.
Of course, it’s possible they’ve done more than just revamp the absurd injury process (which was terrible, and the first primary reason I quit) but I have no desire to go back without something like a HD 3.0 style overhaul.
