Before posting the narrative detailing the birth and death dates of my selections, I feel I must congratulate fatboydad54 on his best chain idea yet. I so enjoyed putting my team together that when I was done I started another one with a totally different anchor, and I liked that team every bit as much as my first one. After staring at the two for about a half hour I decided to stick with my original anchor (who was technically my second anchor after I moved off my original anchor before realizing that I was thinking about the rules incorrectly), but I'd love for there to be a second (or more) version(s) of this theme so I can try out more possibilities. Super fun build.
