Starting anew in D3 Allen on Monday and just trying to get confirmation on the timeline of events. I've been reading so much in the guides it's hard to keep everything straight.
1) Do new coaches always get dropped in to the world at the same time of day? Want to try to do my scouting as soon as possible.
2) When I get dropped in it will be the start of recruiting cycle 2, correct?
3) I will be able to rescind scholarships at this point and get back AP and scouting budget for those, up to having 6 open scholarships total, correct?
4) Since it's the start of RC2, it will be at the point where I can already sign D2 recruits, correct?
5) In a 1-a-day world, how many 6 hour recruiting cycles will there be before recruiting ends and I get stuck with walk-ons?

Are you rejoining a world during the job change period? Or did you make a start of reason reservation?

Oh man, hate to tell you but Allen is currently in Period 2. You have reserved a team that will start its season soon with recruiting not taking place for something like a month.

If you have not previously played in a world and have to start at new coach signup, you have to start with no Period 2, instead you will start right before the exhibition season and shortly before the regular season begins. However, if you have already played in a world you can start with period 2 by applying to a team during the job cycle period, and then getting accepted. I tried reserving a team myself and I had to unreserve them, then apply for them, then I got accepted and am now recruiting. Does any of that make sense, not to me I already had the team why would I even need to apply at that point, but this is the hand we have.

Nah, i've been out for 15 years, so it's going to be after season join for me no matter what....so that means the first season i'm stuck with the team the SIM puts together? Guess I'll be able to spend a lot of time working on scouting =/

Also, good job on the YT vids you two; those are really helpful explaining some things that are hard to pick up on when you don't know the game or the engine very well.

If you're saying you played 15 years ago, whichever world that you played in back then, if you join it you can start in RS2 tho

What time do the jobs process if you are switching schools? Is it random or are there set times?

every 3 hours

first jobs cycle is 24 hours and the next one is usualyl 12 it doesnt move to 3 hours until closer towards the end of the jobs period
