Are we going to get a NL DH in this game, now that it is currently used in MLB ?

There is a lot that is behind the times of what is in current MLB, but a universal DH would seem like a simple coding option. Maybe making it optional for each world, with the commissioner being able to click a button to activate that rule.

Updates they said were coming out toward the end of last year still have not been implemented. The chance of getting any meaningful changes to this game is basically zero. The majority of the setup/rules of this game are based on the collective bargaining agreement that was in place in 2005 when this game was developed and coded. It is just not a big enough money maker for them to invest any more development time into it.

I’m fairly certain that no one on the dev team knows how this game was coded in 2005. So, nothing is a simple coding option. And any fixes are likely to mess something else up, so I’m fine with this game being a snapshot from MLB in 2005.

This is a very true fact. Honestly with any major updates to the style of the game will come out when the devs are able to get re-writes of the game done that will allow for customized options such as this. There isn't a real timeframe on that but hoping for later in this year to be getting these things done for Simleague. HBD with all of it's nuances and the amount of data will be one of the latter ones.
