That is actually down from the 20-25 worlds waiting to fill 1-2 weeks ago so the trend is in the right direction. Worlds with 4 or less openings usually fill in 1-3 weeks but worlds with more than that can take 1-2 months or more in the worst cases.
The last time they did an advertising and promotion blitz a few months ago it really only did limited good. In Bo Jackson where I am commish, 3 of the 4 owners we picked up after going public during the promotion had to be replaced at some point during the season. I had another commish tell me they had to replaced over twice that many owners during the latest current season of their world. A few of the new owners did stick around but recent experience shows it is only a low percentage that do so.
