My understanding is that the recruiting class rankings are nonsensical. I take pride in having low rated recruiting classes. When I get the guys I want, they turn out well, regardless of how low my classes are rated.

Potential is ignored, overall/position rankings are relevant, and you are punished having openings. All things that don’t relate to the success of recruits or programs. So basically nonsense.
