If two teams offer the same max contract (5 years, $100mil, NTC and player option), what is the tiebreaker for them to pick between the offers? Is it who offers first or something like last years team record? Thanks.

In some order, it's pitching/hitting strength of the teams coaching staffs and ballparks. But I've always seen the first tiebreak to be previous team, if the previous team is offering.

The previous team (as long as the last contract was a five year deal IIRC), then whoever has the highest rated combo of Bench/Hitting or Bullpen/Pitching.
