I have a player Don Dietrich. Per the Season Stats and Split Stats views on my lineup card, here are his OBPs.
Total OBP: .317
vL OBP: .303
vR OBP: .309

I'm no mathematician, but for his OBP to be .317 shouldn't his vL or vR have to be above that number? Or is there some stat that gets dropped from the splits view that causes his OBP to be under reported that I'm not considering? Figured I'd give you guys a chance to call me a dummy before asking support :)

If I had to guess, I'd say hbp is not included in the splits OBP

I think Sac flies as well aren't included. I remember hearing that someplace before.

Sac Flies can make your obp less than your batting average due to how they are counted, but what dw's asking is something that doesn't fit that. Tlowster could be right; it's something that's not counted in the splits, like how sbs aren't counted there.
