When SIM takes over mid-recruiting battle... Topic

Let's say (hypothetically) you're in the midst of a heated battle with another human coach for a recruit after period 1. Both schools have maxed out visits/promises, etc. Then, that coach leaves during the jobs period and you're now slated to battle SIM AI for the recruit in the late signing period.

From what I understand, SIM AI gets additional resources to recruit with, but can they go beyond the max visit limits? If you have an edge in this battle, would you be more concerned or more confident now?

Curious for everyone's take - it's been a while since I was in this position.

Thanks!

EDIT: To clarify, this battle is at D1. If it's relevant, you can assume you have a two-letter prestige advantage as well.

If sim is starting at high or better, I'd do what I could to beat them back a little, if possible. The closer they are, the harder they tend to fight. But if they're starting RS2 from moderate or lower, I'd probably sit tight. To my knowledge, sim doesn't get to do any "extra" visits - like if the previous coach spent max visits on the battle, sim will not be able to go beyond. They don't get knocked back like humans do when taking a new school, though.

I don't think much will change in the equation, assuming you know for sure the previous coach maxed out HV/CV.

I think you still need to maximize efforts on attention points, especially considering the prestige advantage - as I think the SIM may be less aggressive in that regard, so you may be able to increase your lead.
