Do any leagues still keep up with their blogs? It seems they became a thing a few years back but quickly dropped off. As one who tries to write for Cobbfather, I'd be curious to chat with anyone else who runs one for their league.

Years ago I did. Even to put out a quarter season post takes a loooooooong time.

I'd usually do 'pre-season projections and power rankings', Mid-season power rankings, my analysis of the first round of the draft, playoff predictions.

And even that was hard to keep up with for 32 teams.

If you can get one writer for the AL and one for the NL and keep them in sync it becomes manageable because you see the teams in your conference a lot more. Even better if one is 20 mill on college kids and one is 20 mill on HS kids.

Agreed! I limit my draft recaps to the top 15 picks, since that's where most of the talent is. I've pulled out Bill James Hall of Fame numbers to confirm those on the ballot. Even made a spreadsheet to follow some advanced stats like wRAA. Added in a fantasy points value.

For those interested here's what we've been doing over in Cobbfather - https://cobbfather.blogspot.com/

I try to add this to most of the leagues I'm in....I tend to focus on HOF and Awards Voting, adding in Quarterly Power Rankings when possible. When I only had one or two teams I did a lot more, but now that I'm up to 4-5 teams that's about all I can manage.

Yeah I hear ya. The only league I do is cobbfather because I enjoy writing in the blog. We should all join up in the same league one day; would be fun to see what that blog looks like.
