reason why i havent done a full league Topic

Im doing the trials and sometimes i use exact team and go almost undefeated and last time i only won 2
But my question is why doesn't my closer or Long A ever pitch hardly ever in the 10 game format?
Last time Billy wagner pitched 2 innings over ten games? My long A pitched 3 innings??

that's hard to answer without knowing the situation in each game and what your settings are.

Closers only pitch in close games. You can change his designation to get him in more games, you don't have to designate anybody as Closer. If Long Relievers aren't pitching it's probably because Starters are going deep into games, you can lower their pitch counts if you want spread it around. If several pitchers are underused you're probably buying more innings than you need, your money goes further if you draft fewer innings but go too low and you have fatigue problems. Takes practice to learn the right amount.

you won't taste the full flavor of the SIM playing the exhibition leagues, although they certainly provide a new player with an idea of how the SIM works. The 10 game season is a small sample. I'd suggest taking the plunge and entering a full season OPEN league. Over a full season, you'll be able to kick off the training wheels and learn how it works (hint, defense is underrated by a lot of newer players). Read the forums, ask questions here and Good Luck!
