RRYP will be starting season 12 in a month and we are looking for a team owner to manage the St Louis team.
We have up to 35 players per team (25 + 10 AAA) - if you don't draft enough for 35, you receive random AAA which you can't use. Every year we draft from 4 seasons all ending in the same digit. This year's coming draft we will be drafting from 1906, 1946, 1966 and 1976 rookies. Every year we pick 4 random seasons all ending in the same digit and increase the digit by 1 each time. And we will avoid using a duplicate season until all seasons have been used. The St Louis team has the 2nd pick in this draft. The players on the team presently are listed here. Some of these players are not going to be useful and can be dropped. If you drop 8 than you would get 8 draft picks (the 2nd pick in each round) or as many as you want up 8. There are 16 teams (4 x 4) and a good group of managers. Its been a fun league. The competition has been good every season. You can send me a sitemail if interested or if you have any questions.

is 8 the Max you can draft?

and could you theoretically draft all of your players from one year?

You can draft more than 8. That was just an example.
We don't decide on our keepers until we are done drafting. Some guys take more than 8. That is about what the average is. When you are done drafting you have to cut down to 35 or less if you want. Everybody on your team will be using one of their seasons that end in the same digit. This coming season it will be 6. And it will always be the players first season or their next season. So if they used their1995 last season this year they play 1996. Its a normal progressive league in that way. At the end of the draft when you enter your team we suggest list your roster including any IR guys and drops you had in roster forum. That way you can keep track of everybody. Any IR guys do not count as one of your 35 players. As far as the team playing in St Louis at the same park. Our league rule has been to allow changes to our franchise every 10 seasons. I probably would be ok if you wanted to change your franchise name and park when you start though. I don't think there would be any objections to that. That way it would be your personal choice for you are playing. We also randomly change the leagues around every 10 season too. I think the St Louis team is currently in AL east. Let me know if you have any other questions. We are only a week away from the playoffs and will probably start the draft then. And you would have the 2nd pick. Don Sutton and Warren Spahn look like a couple of the choices that will be available.

I'll give it a shot. I am in. Will move from St. Lou as I already have two progressives there and want a different taste.
