My first round pick in the draft was "looking to be drafted in the first round..." I offered him a contract immediately after the draft, and he responded with the standard, "thinking about it."

And he thought, and he thought, and he thought... and no further communication. Finally, after the All-Star break, I noticed he had a yellow X by his name. I took this as a sign of some trouble, and did the thing you're never supposed to do, and re-offered. That was a couple of games ago, and he's thinking about it, but now he has a magnifying glass by his name and not the yellow X, so I'm hopeful he'll get back to me.

Anybody have any idea what is happening here?
