“New” Coach Topic

I lost track of life and didn’t renew an elite program. Luckily, I applied and got the job back. Two questions: (1) does my clock reset to zero for longevity preferences? And (2) will I see a “new coach” penalty when the second round of recruiting starts?

I don't think so either but I think you can just check? Go to your recruiting page and just check 1. Did you lost a huge amount of effort on someone (like were you VH and now mod or low) 2. Do your preferences say otherwise?

AFAIK, it's an instant change for new coaches.

I can't say for sure now but I made that error about a year ago and I did suffer the new coach penalty.

My situation was a little different as another coach got the job and we came to a agreement and he gave me the team back.

To close the circle, the answers turned out to be no and no as everyone predicted. But I agree with Shoe that this is easily fixable by an automatic system. To be fair to the powers that be, though, the only reason I run into this problem is that I am always trying to game my credits and when to buy another package of seasons.
