The team efg is weighted by each players usage rate and minutes played as a ratio of avg team usage and total team minutes. No I didn’t not adjust the minutes down to 19,680 so my numbers are not as precise as they could be.

Thanks for the eval, Chewy! Yeah, I fully drafted Jordan thinking I would play him at PG, and then after taking Bam, I felt great about assists, so I totally forgot about them from that point on. My initial plan post draft was going to be to get a rebounding big and slide Andersen to SF, but I was worried that my team just wouldn't pass enough. I really had no one other than Bam and MJ, and they're both only at 18%, so I decided to roll the dice and go with the big EFG team and lots of ball movement, and take Nash. It looked good in the sims I ran, but that's not always a good indicator. It definitely looked better than it looked when I tried to deal with my rebounding deficit and just punt on assists...anyway, it will be an interesting season, and perhaps a good learning experience.

And my username is just a made up word, no connection to Musk. I pronounce it in my head the same way you do :) And yes, you're right about my playing career. Got to play with all the Barry brothers, Jason Kidd, Chris Webber, and many more. My most exciting game was against Webber in the summer after 11th grade, where he and I guarded each other all game. I had 11 pts and 13 boards, and he had 27 and 15. But our squad won. He was already 6-8 and 230 at that point. I was an undersized (6'4") PF with a game like a mix of Enes Kanter/Domantas Sabonis. I do find it funny that my teams 31 turnovers mid eval ****** up my stats lol(at the beginning of the video you can see my tov was pretty decent). Thanks for the eval chewy.

Yeah, I did see that high efficiency season of Turner's but wanted his higher D season. All part of the half-baked plan. And I gambled with Simmons in order for his boards to give me enough flexibility to put a meager rebounder (in positional context) like Turner at the 4 position. Hopefully I drafted enough 3s elsewhere to cover for Simmons' perimeter allergy on offense.

First of all, absolutely great job on the evals and thank you so much for putting in the effort to record a video. In my mind I am hearing John Cleese saying, “gleat, gleat, gleat” or whatever he said.

I couldn’t help but wonder throughout the whole video…..WHAT ARE YOU DRINKING? We hear you walking over to the fridge and then opening a can of something that I assume was a soda and not a beer since it was so late, and then every time you took a drink I was thinking “I hope it’s a coke.” My feeling on the subject is if you were drinking anything other than a coke you should lose two points from your chewy score.

To explain ***** Wear Garnett, steelers821 went to the University of South Carolina, whose team nickname is the Gamecocks and the school colors are garnet and black. So ***** is short for Gamecocks and since he has Kevin Garnett on his team he made a clever joke with the garnet/Garnett bit. Someone made a joke a number of years ago that South Carolina was going to change their name from the Gamecocks to the Willing Johnsons.

I liked that you got into user names a bit. When I was typing berkelon a ways back I found out that there is a mineral called Berkonium, which also sounds cool. I don’t know of an easy way to say dakjd901 so I prefer calling him Johnny Dakota, which sounds similar to Utah Johnny Montana, who was in Briscoe County Jr. I was bored once many years ago and wrote evals for everyone’s user name for the people who happened to be in the ODL that season.

I can’t believe it censored *****. How did he get it into his team name?

Also, chewy sounds so chill IRL that he could commoditize that video as a meditation app.

1) that was such a sensitive microphone so you probably heard my annoying cat meowing around the 10 minute mark too. And I was drinking a lemon seltzer water which was much needed since my voice started sounding weird the more I talked.

2) I truly would like to start an ongoing channel. Maybe robusk and benhoidal already have one and just haven’t advertised it. I’d like to have a weekly zoom call with anyone and everyone playing sim basketball. It would be good to help new users ask questions and get immediate answers from the veterans. Then we could expand to advanced topics and really dive into the weeds of some advanced theories.

Let me know if you are interested in helping setting that up, offering your knowledge, or have any other useful skills.

I would love to participate in zoom stuff. When we did some a while ago it was a lot of fun.
