Weird Stamina changes Topic

The last couple of seasons I have had some weird results on Stanima development for some players.. Between the end of the season and the new season I have been seeing the normal kind of drops of 2-4 pts. However the next season despite averaging 20+ minutes and starting every game I have had probably a half dozen players still end up at the end of the season below the end of the previous season. Practice time on conditioning has been between 8-12. Anyone else notice this? Seems crazy that a player starting full time would not get back the Stamina lost in the off season.

I don't like it at all, because it doesn't make real life sense or game sense, but it is within normal range for that level of practice time on conditioning. Stamina grows slower than anything else, and falls farther in the offseason. This is obviously done as part of the "nerf press/uptempo/depth" effort from years past. This effort was bad game design, and has contributed to all sorts of dumb and irritating gameplay issues, but it is what it is.

So probably put at least 15 minutes into conditioning until your player is red in stamina. My FB/P teams have 20-25 in conditioning at all times.

Yes this has been going on for more than just a couple of seasons. I have had a couple of players fall below their Fr numbers with 10-12 on Stamina and playing 15+ minutes. This has never been a very realistic portion of the game. Stamina in real life is driven by the preseason not the regular season.
