Question: If an ARB eligible player is traded before his ARB is settled, how does that affect the team he is traded to if the trade isn't "approved" before the end of the ARB period?

Same as if you didn't offer him a deal. AI runs it through and new team will have to take on the new contract from what I've experienced.

EDIT - Yes agreed with below. I'd typically ask the trade partner what they want to offer and go from there.

I usually ask the guy I'm trading with what he wants me to offer in arb (or long-term) and if I'm on the other side I tell my trade partner what I want the arb bid to be.
