The Classic 16 progressive is about to begin its first season. The draft is complete and we are ready to go, however, our Cleveland Indians owner has dropped out and we are seeking a replacement, immediately if possible. I am willing to buy the owner a free team for season one.
The Classic 16 is a 16 team progressive made up of the original 16 franchises as they existed heading into 1961. 15 players were protected from their real life roster and all unprotected players were dispersed in the draft.
One thing that makes this one unique is the ability to claim franchise rookies. For example, the Cleveland owner would have the opportunity to claim Luis Tiant in 1964 before the draft even begins. I can provide more details on this process if you're interested.
