What happens if you remove an invite from spring roster? Are there any consequences, or is it a broken feature?

Nah far as I recall once he's signed you can do what you want with him. I've done it, realized I wanted the roster spot for another player. I believe I signed the player to a minors deal to keep him around as an emergency backup. Not sure if he just releases into the wild if you never sign him to a contract.

Was it an invite-only? Or minor-league deal with an invite? Invite-only I believe would be released (not 100% on that). If you signed him to a minor-league deal with an invite, as damag said, there shouldn't be any repercussions.
