I went 19-10 with a Div II school. I did not recruit because my plan was to move up to a Div I school. I ended up not being qualified for a Div I school, and stuck at the same school with limited talent. Had horrible year. Then after three seasons, still could not move up to Div I. That is why I inquired, I could not move up after a 19-10 season in a full conference, why I wondered.

It sucks but sometimes when you don't recruit, the best course of action is just swapping teams.

Also, maybe learn D2 first. It's where good coaches become good coaches. I'm a D1 coach but it's where a lot of coaches go, fail, and lose interest.
