Weak draft, I took a 74 OVR player at 49th overall. $8M asking price. I’d like to pocket the pick but got burned several seasons ago after selecting a substandard 1st overall pick whose Mom unexpectedly accepted the $8M signing bonus. Are the chances still slim (1%?) he’ll accept the $8M offer or has your past experience proven it’s a riskier percentage?

Yeah, if he was a sandwich/comp pick, no Type D. If he was a legit second rounder, then you do get a Type D..

Thank you for the info. It is a comp/sandwich pick. Typical sandwich pick, not worth $8M. I have gone from offering $8M and hoping he declines to only offering $8M if I have the funds after the international signing period and hoping he accepts.
