Well, I my 1922 Senators went 80-82 in round 1 (and won a weak division), but that included a 16-30 record in 1-run games, plus they had to deal with those really strong 1925, 1926, 1927 teams that combined to win 298 games. This team essentially has the same roster and should have an easier time in round 2.

I’m heavily researching other leagues but none needed here.
The 1924 Reds are one of my favourite twist teams that have done very well for me in numerous lower salary cap leagues.
I’m not sure that success will translate here, but pedrocerrano’s 1921 Reds last round give me some confidence.

I don't really belong picking this early...and these are 2 franchises that don't fit my mind, so I'll go with the 1 team that I know will score runs, and likely lots of them. (They are sure to give up many as well)

I'm sitting here for hours poring over my laptop looking at mediocre teams, trying to figure out which one will go 68-94 rather than 67-95, instead of spending time with my family. This is just stupid. I don't care anymore, as evidenced by this pick.
