I have been gone 15+ years. I am on my first season with a full rebuild. I have the #2 pick and want to roll it over to next season. I feel like it used to be the mom was the agent and I don't see that listed.

In the draft class list, view Background Info.
Sort by signability.
Find the players with 'Probably won't sign...'
Check agent for those players.
FYI - mother is not guaranteed 100% to not sign and often the contract dollar amount is very high.

Just remember that you have to offer the draftee what he is asking in order to receive the comp pick.

Yes. The "probably won't sign" prospects are your best bet, but they ask for about 3 to 8 million dollars. If you're not looking to take the high dollar risk, I've found that the next best bet are the players that have offers to play a different sport.

I've actually seen players ask for more than 8. Can't remember exactly - wasn't my player - but one time a player asked for more like 10. The owner complained about it in league chat.

I took 4 'probably won't sign' with mom listed in a recent draft where I draft 5th. I only like one guy. I got my preferred pick at #5, but my next 4 selections we 7.5-8.5M asks. I didn't see 3 of the top 5 IFAs, so offered all four to try to recoup something for the wasted prospect money. 3 declined. 1 signed
