We have an opening in a long-running regressive league that started in 2008, as a long-time owner disappeared. The 1952 season will start in a week or so and the draft is in progress.
Here are a few selling points:
- Absolutely no tanking! Tired of owners getting the number 1 pick through deliberate tanking or negligence? This league is for you. The draft order is based on keeper salary (lowest picks first) and for the first round there is an evenly weighted lottery for the lowest six salaries.
- Exactly 15 keepers, forcing you into constant difficult choices in the draft. Do I draft a guy who isn't good for a few years and eat up a valuable roster spot, or go for a player who has one good year and nothing else? Unlike many progressives/regressives, you won't see the same players taken in the same order.
- Timely drafts and new seasons. Because the draft order isn't based on the prior season's record, the draft for the next season takes place after the trade deadline, so as soon as the World Series is over the next season is ready to go
