2025 players only. Yes to DH both leagues, no trades, yes injuries, no WW, snake draft, random draft order, scheduled draft, random alignment, 6/6 AAA below average, standard 24 team format. 10 minute intervals between picks. Ballparks are unique and a ballpark draft will be made within the draft utility. Three picks a day from 10 AM to 10 PM EST. Technically, the draft start date is 10/6/24. I don't expect it to fill by then. The real draft date is a day or two after the league fills.
We will be utilizing the live draft utility. Do not enter league if you are not familiar with it and/or unwilling to learn how to use it.
You do not need to sign up in the forum. The league has already been created. First come, first served.
It has come up before where people drop out after the draft order has been assigned. If that happens and a new person joins, the draft order will be randomized again. I have no control over this.
Change from previous years - There is no more forum ballpark draft. There is a "secret" ballpark draft after everyone has drafted 25 players in the draft utility. Ballparks are still limited to the 30 current ballparks and are exclusive. The order of the ballpark draft within the utility is the opposite (serpentine) of the 25th round.
FAQ
Q - I've never joined a live draft league, how does it work?
A- We draft 3 players a day at a scheduled time. You will know exactly what time you draft every day when the draft is generated. The draft itself should take 9 days.
Q- Why do we have AAA players?
A - It's a necessary evil. It is common to end up with less than 1200 innings after the draft is completed. Having 6 AAA pitchers closes that gap.
Q - Can I queue up players to auto-draft for me?
A - Yes and no. You can queue up players in the system, but it won't auto-draft them for you. You still have to manually press the "draft" button.
Q - What happens if I miss my draft slot?
A - You can make up that pick at any time afterwards.
