All-Decade League- Potential Interest? Topic

Would there be any opposition to starting the league with 20 teams? With mattyberk's entry we have 19 teams. I am willing to enter a second team to get us to 20. Let me know your thoughts.

I would be okay with a 20 team league. Would there be 4 or 6 divisions in that scenario?

It would be 4 divisions of five teams each. The only negative with 20 teams is that only the division winners would advance to the playoffs

Here is what I've decided:

With dilligafdbp dropping out, we now have 5 deadball era teams and 5 "homerun" era teams (1990-present). These two divisions are now full and no other team can use decade teams from these eras. We will do a 20 team league, meaning we now only have 3 spots to fill. I believe this division format matches up with the intent of the league, as now all teams will be perfectly aligned by era and playing style. I am hoping we can do a full 24 team league in the future, but for our first season I think this is our best course of action.

As always, I am open to input, so please reach out with any additional suggestions.

I'm good with 20 teams.

Sorry, but I’m going to drop out too. I think that actually puts you at 16 so you may be able to start up.

pmwksw dropping out puts us at 17, so we still need 3 more
