Someone remind me please. Yep, I picked up a player like this as a throw in on a trade. Don't really want him in the bigs and would stash him in AAA. What now? Do I waive him first, or DFA him? If he clears waivers can I move him to AAA? If someone claims him do they then have to waive him too? All I remember for sure is that if I don't do anything with him for 30 days he becomes a free agent.
