Here is an update: The following was sent to me yesterday after i sent in a ticket on this subject:
"This was something we knew some users in GD did. I personally am also a GD user so I know the importance the days of the week are for recruiting in a world. We will have discussions as a staff to see if we can figure out a solution for this. I can't promise anything either way but we will have discussions."
I give the new owners credit for responding to me on this subject.
Now, we give them a little time, eh? Patience.
They told me they discussed it and they are not putting it back to the day it used to be. It's over. They don't care about it.
jsfoppa - It's not that we don't care about it, but holdaway is pretty accurate in his previous post... We would have to pause all worlds for a week to get them back to their original days. The code, in it's current version, isn't very agile. Shoot me a site mail if you'd like to join a different world that recruits on the day that's best for you - would be happy to send you a credit.
In the past when there was a one day hiccup, and it has happened before, the people that ran the game just shortened the offseason when the worlds rolled over by one day so the recruiting stayed on the same day. holdaway noted this and another coach also did in this chain. Saying the only solution you can come up with is to pause the worlds for 6 days is ridiculous. Multiple times it was done that the offseason was cut by a day. If your computer skills of this new ownership team are not capable of this, then I don't know what to say in a civil manner and I am left to wonder why you all even took WIS over. So even I did start over in another world and spend up to a year to get a good D1 job then what happens? If there is another hiccup when you change something else in this game, then you make the excuse you can do nothing about it, and I would have to go find another world and start over. No thanks.
